- CASE gives voice to the triumphs and needs of special education leaders by engaging with key stakeholders, coalitions, and partners on the federal level!
- Access to the CASE Action Center puts advocacy at your fingertips!
- Special Education Legislative Summit (SELS) takes advocacy to Washington, D.C.
- CASE has a policy and legislative consultant who consistently advocates for special education in Washington, D.C. on the behalf of the membership.
- CASE participates in numerous coalitions and partnerships to strengthen the advocacy efforts for special education leaders. View the list of coalitions here.
- The CASE Policy and Legislative Committee works consistently to review and strengthen the focused work. Review the CASE policy statements here. The committee continues to develop policy statements based on the needs of the field.
- CASE offer professional learning, advocacy webinars, and meeting opportunities on a regular basis. 60 Minutes with Myrna is scheduled each month.
- CASE offers professional learning via meetings, virtual learning, and in-person events.
- CASE members receive a discount on all virtual learning and in-person events, including The CASE Conference and the CASE Academy of Law and Leadership.
- CASE provides a menu of virtual legal and leadership events. Details are located in the CASE Legal Suite and the CASE Leadership Suite.
- Access to Members Only FREE learning opportunities such as: New Directors’ Network, 60 Minutes with Myrna, and Wellness Wednesdays.
- CASE often partners with federal education resource centers to provide FREE learning opportunities, such as CAST on Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- CASE members have the opportunity to apply to participate in the Special Education Leadership Institute.
- Access to the CASE CommUnity, a specific network created only for CASE members to expand their professional network.
- CASE members often share one of the greatest benefits of membership is the amazing network of professionals. Now it is easier than ever to connect with CASE colleagues from across the country and around the globe. The CASE CommUnity is a membership forum that will allow you to post questions, share information, join groups, and engage with special education leaders.
