CASE Executive Director Featured in K-12 Dive

Phyllis WolframPhyllis Wolfram was recently quoted in the K-12 Dive article, "2 Senate Bills Would Undo Some Education Department Transfers," highlighting the impact of CASE's ongoing advocacy on behalf of students with disabilities and the professionals who serve them. The article covers two bipartisan Senate bills aimed at preventing the transfer of key U.S. Department of Education responsibilities—including special education programs—to other federal agencies. The proposed legislation reflects growing concern among education leaders about maintaining strong federal oversight and accountability for special education services.

Following the introduction of the bills, Wolfram shared:

We know we still have lots of work to do, but we realize now that our education and advocacy is at work and we look forward to continuing to make a differernce in the lives of students with disabilities.
