Membership Information
CASE is the collective voice of special education leaders.
The Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) is an international professional organization with over 6,000 members committed to visionary leadership, inclusive practices, engagement, and integrity. As the voice of special education leaders, CASE routinely engages with federal agencies, national coalitions, and partner organizations representing our members. This focus on national policy and advocacy supports lasting solutions that continue to drive the profession forward. Become a member and connect with over 6,000 special education leaders globally!
What do you value most about your CASE Membership? CASE bridges the gap between federal policy and local administration. Their proactive advocacy and wealth of timely updates are essential resources that keep me informed and empowered to lead my district effectively.
Why should every special education leader join CASE? As an individual director, you can’t easily advocate on Capitol Hill for better IDEA funding or sensible regulatory changes. CASE aggregates the voices of thousands of administrators to push for systemic change in Washington D.C. Joining means you are actively supporting the collective leverage needed to protect your staff and students.~Sarah Mittelstadt, MN
CASE has four primary focus areas that align with our mission "to provide leadership to advance the field of special education through professional learning, policy, and advocacy."

"The learning, forward-thinking, networking with "boots on ground mentality" allows special education and general education leaders to stay consistent with current trends and needs as the organization supports our struggles. CASE does more than just provide a growth mindset of research and learning; it enables and encourages those in education to find extended support when otherwise siloed mentalities could overwhelm leaders. I am forever grateful."~Dr. Ashley Krause, Associate Superintendent, Farmington School District (MO)
